We were going to go to the beach but it was too foggy, so we wandered around the Marin headlands instead.

The 2004 WeLL Picnic was on Angel Island, so I took my bike on the ferry, rode around the island, ate a bunch of meat, and then biked back from Tiburon.

Day twenty-eight, my last day in Paris. I went to Disneyland! With a cousin and two nephews. It rained for most of the day but we still had fun.

Day twenty-seven. My nephew Felix took me to the Aqua Boulevard water park in the morning. Then we took the long way back through the Metro, visiting St. Lazare and taking some long-exposure pix from the front car of the line 14.

Day twenty-six. I met up with some online friends and we had lunch and walked around, visiting among other things the Pantheon.

I went out again after dinner to look at neon signs around Pigalle. The sex-show barkers there are pretty darn aggressive!

Day twenty. I used my brother-in-law's bike to go on a long ride to the southwest of Paris, through Sèvres, Meudon, and Issy.

Day nineteen. A stroll through the Tolbiac district, including the Bibliothèque Mitterand.

Day eighteen. My parents and I had a nice afternoon walk past the Eiffel Tower to the Tokyo and Rodin museums.

We took a week-long vacation from our vacation, via the TGV to Avignon. We stayed in a little B&B called La Malle Poste, near Cavaillon.

Day nine. My nephew Leo took me out to Parc de la Villette today. It was cloudy, though, so I didn't get very many good pictures.

Day seven! Not so sunny today, but I went out anyway. I like the roofline of Opera Garnier, the courtyard of Palais Royal, and giant spiral staircase under the Louvre's pyramid, and of course Arts et Métiers. And I walked through the Tuileries on the way home.
