29oct2003: One of the new kittens got lost or abandoned. I heard him in my basement, mewling very loudly. I moved him to the last known nesting spot of his mom, but she never retrieved him. A neighbor decided to adopt him. He turned out to be the lucky one, I never saw the other two again.
